Products › Mechanical Material Lifts
An electric motor and gear reducer drive heavy-duty roller chain to move the platform, with no hydraulic fluid in the system. For taller lifts, more floors and heavy daily traffic, it is the right tool. We use proven, American-made VRCs, installed and serviced by our own crew.
When the lift runs constantly, goes up several floors or works somewhere fluid is not welcome, a mechanical drive is the better fit.
Built by a proven American VRC manufacturer. Our crew installs it, handles permits and inspections, and services it for the long haul.
VFD and encoder-controlled drives stop consistently at floor level, cycle after cycle.
Same speed and force outdoors in January or in a hot warehouse in July.
No hydraulic fluid and no risk of oil leaks. A strong fit for food, pharma, cleanrooms and other sensitive spaces.
Handles frequent, continuous use all day without performance drop-off.
Chain drives scale to long vertical runs, up to 100 ft and multiple levels.
Mechanical VRCs come in three styles. The right one depends on your load, how it gets on and off, and the space you have. We recommend one after the site survey.
Carriage centered between two guide beams. Up to 6,000 lb and a 10 ft x 12 ft carriage. Loads on and off from opposite ends or the same end.
Carriage mounted in front of the guide beams. Up to 6,000 lb and an 8 ft x 8 ft carriage. Loads from any of three sides.
Carriage inside four guide beams. Up to 20,000 lb and a 12 ft x 15 ft carriage. Loads from any of four sides.
Serve two levels or many, up to 100 ft of travel.
Up to 20,000 lb on a 4-post carriage up to 12 ft x 15 ft.
Z, C or 90-degree load patterns, depending on the configuration.
Brake motor, gear reducer and roller chain. No hydraulic fluid in the system.
Limit switches, photo eyes, safety guards and handrails, with alarms available.
Each lift comes with a preventive maintenance schedule and checklist.
Both move materials safely between floors. The right one depends on how high you’re going and how often.
